Jean Paul Gaultier at the DMA

My sister and partner in fashion/design, Lindsey, and I visited the fabulous Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art.  Wow!  JPG is truly inspirational.  Not only are his gorgeous fashion pieces works of visual art, but they are intelligent, making one think about each and every fabulous piece.  Definitely go see this beautiful display of genious-ness!  Be sure to buy his book, The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, to display for all to admire.
Runway delights from Gaultier.

Each room was styled exquisitely to showcase his amazing designs.

Smith Boyd Interiors

I am truly impressed with Michael Boyd, an Art Institute graduate, designer, decorator and all around creator.  I love bright colors mixed with neutrals.  I love unique lamps, chairs, tables, accessories and he incorporates it all in his interior designs.  Nowadays, most interior designers/decorators design furniture too and Michael's pieces are just as fabulous as the rooms he designs. What an impressive guy!

Kelly Wearstler. Oh, How I Admire You

Kelly Wearstler is truly a vibrant peacock.  The rooms she creates are as incredibly colorful, unique and fabulous as she is.  I am constantly referring to her 3 books for inspiration:  Modern Glamour: The Art of Unexpected Style, Domicilium Decoratus, Hue.  I heart her style.  I heart her fashion sense.  I heart her creativity.

I heart Kelly Wearstler.  And so should you!

Le Royal Monceau Hotel PARIS

I die!  I want to visit this newly remodeled Phillip Starck hotel Le Royal Monceau in Paris.  Beautiful rugs, fabulous lamps and great art.   The hotel boasts two restaurants, a Clarins spa and 100-seat movie theater.   My dream to visit Paris will include this fabulous hotel.  I know it sounds crazy, but I would love to stay in a different, beautiful hotel each night thus drinking in the amazing beauty the city holds.
Grand Entrance to Le Royal Monceau Hotel in Paris.  Gorgeous!
Location is ideal - Five minutes' walk from Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elyseese.
This bed looks so inviting!
This bathroom is beyond words.  I love how everything is mirrored.  Perfect for the narcissist in all of us.
Love the elegance of the stairs and juxtaposition of the rustic walls and sculptures.
